By introducing an extremely high voltage electrical current to wooden surfaces, unique designs can be created through a fascinating process that causes the fibres in the wood to heat up, scorching deep veins into the material through a combination of human input and the natural structure of the wood, ensuring every design is 100% unique.

No two pieces are exactly alike and each design is therefore impossible to replicate. A set of four stools is a set that includes four one of kind pieces, each with its' own story. The intricacies of each design are decided throughout the trees entire life as the wood fibres grow closer and further apart giving the electricity a path from fibre to fibre, burning its way as it meanders across the surface.

A Focus on Sustainability

As well as brand new and made-to-order furniture, we also breathe life back into older pieces of furniture, finishing each one with several patiently applied layers of 100% Tung Oil.

Tung Oil is a highly sustainable and food safe oil, often overlooked due to the care and effort required in the application process.

Resin Finishes

Each piece is made more unique by filling the resulting grooves with an epoxy resin, re-strengthening the surface and adding another aesthetic dimension, some pieces even include UV resin, causing the lightning shaped branches to glow under the correct lighting conditions.
